AUTHOR

Fiction & Nonfiction
I have co-authored/edited books for Ripley's, Mobil
Travel Guide and Ronnie Sellers Productions. I've
published three career guides for high school students on
law, art, and military. And I've written two activity books for children ages 9 and up: Great World War II Projects You Can Build Yourself and Amazing Maya Inventions You
Can Build Yourself
. Just out to great reviews: my
humorous children's picture book, You Think It's Easy
Being the Tooth Fairy?
,
published by Chronicle Books of San Francisco. Currently I'm revising my first middle grade novel. Tentatively titled Nichelangelo of the Junk Lot, it's about a nerdy kid who reconnects with his dad (the
proud owner of an auto junk lot) after Nicky's best friend
enters them in the school art contest.

SPEAKER I'm happy to talk about writing, freelancing, and my books at schools, workshops and conferences. Click here for a listing of possible workshops/school visits.

JOURNALIST I write about the arts, business, and interesting people and places for web sites and national, trade, and regional publications, including American Profile, Family Circle, Ladies's Home Journal, The Washington Post, Go, ASJA Monthly and others. Samples.

COPYWRITER & EDITOR I write, copyedit and proofread newsletters, theses,
annual reports, brochures, press packets, training manuals, ads, articles, novels and trade show/conference materials. More info.
